GEGEN is honored to invite you to the opening ball of the season. The starting concept of the new season is ANGST, the audience is invited to experience the event as a manifestation of their own fears; to represent, dance and seduce them as places of knowledge and time of liberation.

The noble framework for this mutually terrifying paraphernalia is the tableau vivant of the KIT KAT CLUB: a piece of contemporary Berlin history that passes body politics on to its crowd through its name, gathering biotechnological and multicultural interspecies inside.

The name comes from a strip club musical of the 1930s, which stood against National Socialism. Also the real Kit Kat is a queer place with a fine mixture of dance culture and sexual freedom of movement, in which, through its multi-organic body and labyrinthine architecture classes, flows different genders, sexualities, ethnicities and empowered generations.

Where identity barriers fall, disorientation lets telepathy fly. Where fears become desires, the unknown unveils its liquid self, that drips into the unrecognized realm of the inexperienced.

This is the meaningful crisis, where good and evil coexist, where trajectories will radiate and make you the radial center of your destinies. It's about smashing your mirrors. It's about accepting your failure. It's about loving your anger. It's about dancing your fear.
