The ongoing process of hyper-codification of reality and its framing in a system of behavioural, legal and virtual codes, as well as its development into complex algorithms that govern its functioning and the way it appears to us, are the empirical demonstration of its fragility and the inconsistency of the concepts on which modern society is based.

Anomalies, whether physical or behavioural, are infractions that breach these codes, based on misinterpretation and the inability to communicate diversity in the society in which we find ourselves. This is why they are confined to the periphery of the cultural era, catalogued and exhibited as rare objects to arouse astonishment through this exotic and deformed perception.

The freak show begins and in this circus we all are Japanese tightrope walkers, Sioux archers, African dwarves, 'Siamese twins', hermaphrodites, repentant anthropophagi, clowns and fakirs and if you think you don't belong here we can add to this undefinedencyclopaedia of disorders all your immoral behaviors, nudity, sexual freedom, polygamy, lack of hierarchy, traditional drug use, and point the finger back at you! You are the anomaly in the system, your moves are pushing the reality towards crisis, your freedom is freeing the normal from the limits of its presumed normality, you are the beginning of this cultural apocalypse.
